Handel é, certamente, um os maiores compositores da história. Um dos nomes mais poderosos da música barroca. Entre as muitas obras famosas que escreveu - óperas, oratórios e uma quantidade elástica de obras de ocasião - estão as obras encontradas neste disco. É o caso de sua Música Aquática (presente neste disco) e a Música real para fogos de artifício, uma das suas composições mais famosas. Handel era alemão. Viveu algum tempo na Itália, mas passou boa parte da sua vida Inglaterra, onde alcançou fama e respeito. Este disco da DG é de excelente qualidade. Não deixe de ouvir. Uma boa apreciação!
